| INGREDIENTS: Black Gram, Split Chickpeas (Chana Dal), Chilli Powder, Sesame Seeds Powder Desiccated Coconut, Curry Leaves Powder, Fenugreek Powder, Jaggery Powder, Salt, Tamarind Powder. COOKING DIRECTIONS: ■ Cook 1 cup chopped pineapple in 2.5cups of water for 15 minutes. ■ Add a sachet of Udupi Kitchen Mangalore Gojju Mix and cook for another 10 minutes. ■ Season with oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chilli. Optional – Blend some freshly grated coconut (6Tbsp for a sachet) for a creamy gravy. Variations – Gojju can be made with hog plum, raw mango, karela, fried bhindi, capsicum, green apple, pomegranate and eggplant. |
