| INGREDIENTS: Desiccated Coconut Powder, Jaggery Powder, Black Gram, Split Chickpeas (Chana Dal), Coriander Powder, Chilli Powder, Salt, Cumin Powder, Fenugreek Powder, Curry Leaves Powder, Tamarind Powder, Turmeric Powder. COOKING DIRECTIONS: Take 500gm dosa rice batter. Add the Udupi Kitchen Kara Dosa Mix to the batter and mix well. Add salt to taste and dilute batter to dosa consistency.Optional – Add finely chopped cabbage, onions/spring onions to the batter. You can also dip sliced Eggplant or breadfruit in the batter and place in a circular form on a dosa pan (shape it round) and cook on both sides. Variations – If you don’t have dosa batter, soak 2 cups idli rice for 3 hours. Grind in a mixer to a smooth paste. No need to ferment, use immediately. |
